The PM has set up an inquiry into union activities following the Grangemouth dispute.
It’s said to be independent but will be run by a QC earning a massive salary and playing a major role in the establishment.
It will look at what has been described as bullying tactics by union activists but it appears that it will not look at the constant bullying and harassment by the rich bosses against their workforce.
I think we can safely expect recommendations that any future Tory government will turn into legislation aimed to weaken unions further.
This is a call to arms and the left has to meet it. Whatever new laws result from this, whatever poor publicity comes from this the fight for working people continues and should include any means necessary to regain workers power.
