The word anarchy conjures up images. Those images can be negative. It’s often used as a by-word for chaos, violence and disorder on the streets. On the other side of the scale anarchists can go to great lengths to detail how the philosophy might work in practice. You could spend a lifetime reading about direct democracy, delegation, consensus building, federal structures, workers councils, mutual aid and the like.
