In a move that could herald the end of the seemingly remorseless march of POOR DOORS SEGREGATED HOUSING round the UK the new owners of No.1 Commercial Street today sat down to talks with Class War over the segregated housing.
Executive Director of HONDO-ENTERPRISES – TAYLOR McWilliams – met with 6 comrades from Class War on site. The outcome – and there are plenty of details to follow – is that McWilliams agreed to set up a meeting of all those who have ownership or interest of some part of the building – from housing association to Hondo – to discuss possibilities for ending the separate entrances. It was agreed that this meeting would be convened before the end of the year. In return Class War agreed a ceasefire in protests outside till this meeting took place.
